Baseball Signs 10 Scholastic Players for Class of 2023

Villanova adds six pitchers and four position players during signing period

VILLANOVA, Pa.—A talented and diverse group of scholastic players will form the baseball team's Class of 2023, as third-year head coach Kevin Mulvey on Thursday announced the 10 members of his recruiting class who will join the Wildcats next season.  Each of the 10 athletes are expected to enroll at Villanova for the Fall 2019 semester.  The incoming class consists of six pitchers and four position players who come from five different states.  A comprehensive recruiting effort by Mulvey and his coaching staff attracted a class that is capable of making contributions to the team at every position on the field.

By choosing to continue their academic and baseball careers with the Wildcats, this group of scholastic players is joining one of the longest-running college baseball programs in the country.  Villanova was recently named by Forbes as one of its '25 Top Colleges That Dominate Academically and Athletically,' and the baseball team has consistently earned recognition for the academic success of its student-athletes while building a strong culture on and off the field.

Below are summaries of each of the 10 players who have committed to Villanova for next season.
