IRVINE, Calif. - The Villanova women's tennis team defeated Concordia University 4-3 on Thursday afternoon to complete their trip out west during Spring Break. The Wildcats lost the doubles point as Concordia won on courts two and three. On court one the doubles team of Claudia Althans and Lindsey Evans won 6-2.

In singles play, Villanova won on courts three through six to clinch the match. Kaylan Rotman won on court no. 3 winning 0-6, 6-1, 6-1. Olivia Kapp won 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 on court no. 4. On court no. 5 Alexandra Vesikallio won 6-3, 6-4. Carina Burdick won on court no. 6, 6-2, 6-1.

The Wildcats will return to action on Friday March 15th against Temple. The match is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. and will be played at the Healthplex Springfield in Springfield, Pa.
