VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova (2-1) will travel to Queens, New York, on Friday for a matchup with BIG EAST opponent St. John's (4-2).

The Wildcats are coming off a dominant 6-1 win on the road at Lehigh last Saturday. In that match, sophomore Lindsay Zimmermann made her Villanova debut in the No. 1 singles and doubles spot. She won her singles match in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4.

Friday will mark Villanova's fourth straight opponent they will face on the road to start the 2020 season.

When the two teams met last season, the Wildcats were narrowly defeated 4-3. Since 2014, the Red Storm has gone 6-0 against Villanova, a streak the team is hoping ends tomorrow.

St. John's has the reigning BIG EAST Player of the Week, Jessica Livianu. Livianu, who plays No. 1 singles and doubles, is undefeated so far this season. She is also a three-time BIG EAST Player of the Year.
