NEW YORK – Villanova's Gordon Graceffo was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following his performance against Campbell on Saturday night. This is the third Weekly Honor Roll nod of his career, after being recognized twice last season (4/15, 5/19).
 
Graceffo earned his second win of the season by turning in a quality start with a line of 6.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K. The sophomore's only earned run occurred in the first inning before he settled in and was lights out for the next five.
 
Graceffo was named to the preseason All-BIG EAST team, and is now 2-0 with a 1.59 ERA on the season across 11.1 IP.
 
This is the second straight week a Wildcat pitcher has been recognized by the conference, with Danny Wilkinson having earned Pitcher of the Week last week.
 
Villanova returns to action this weekend, kicking off a seven-game trip to Florida. The Wildcats will pay four games in Port Charlotte before moving on to Winter Haven for the final three.
