Villanova, Pa.- Villanova men's lacrosse head coach
Mike Corrado and his staff have announced the addition of graduate transfer Jimmy McAfee from Amherst College.
McAfee, a two-time All-American midfielder was named team captain for the 2020 season and earned short stick defensive midfielder of the year honors in 2019. Also, that same year he helped the Mammoths reach the NCAA semifinals for the first time in program history. In his four years McAfee played in 61 games while making 45 starts, netted 36 goals, dished out 35 assists for 71 points. Also, he collected 199 ground balls and caused 38 turnovers.
McAfee went to Germantown Academy where he four varsity letters in lacrosse and football. He was named First Team All InterAc twice for both sports.
At Villanova McAfee will be pursuing a Masters in Finance and chose Villanova "because of the opportunity to enroll in the well-known Villanova Business School and to join an elite lacrosse program."
