VILLANOVA, Pa. – A pair of Villanova Wildcats recently earned postseason honors.
 
Junior Lyam MacKinnon (Lausanne, Switzerland) was selected as a third team All-East Region choice by the United Soccer Coaches Association. MacKinnon led the Wildcats with eight goals, tying Sean Sheridan for the most scored by a Villanova player since 2015.
 
Meanwhile, junior Gray Ricca (Belle Meade, N.J.) was named to the Philly-SIDA All-Academic Team. Ricca carries a 3.98 grade point average at Villanova and on the pitch played a key role for a Wildcats team that matched a program record with 12 victories and won the program's first NCAA Tournament game at Vermont (1-0).
