New York, N.Y.- Katie Comerford was named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week and Libby McKenna was named to the Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Comerford was the BIG EAST's goals and points leader last week, totaling 11 points over eight goals and three assists in a 1-1 home series against Marquette. She posted the BIG EAST weekly single-game high of nine points in Friday's 19-15 victory, notching six goals, three assists and four ground balls. She followed that with a pair of goals in the narrow 8-7 setback on Sunday, including the game-tying score with 7:13 remaining.

McKenna totaled 10 points (5g, 5a) in 1-1 home series with Marquette; added five draw controls over the two-game span; goals and assists came in pivotal times in both games, including a game-tying assist late in the second half of Sunday.

Villanova will return to action on Friday April 9^th vs. Butler.  First draw in Villanova Stadium is scheduled for 12:00 P.M.
