Villanova, Pa.- In their first meeting since the Huskies rejoined the BIG EAST the Villanova Wildcats and the UConn Huskies played to a 0-0 double overtime draw on Sunday afternoon. 

Megan McClay had a career best day in goal for the Wildcats finishing with 13 saves, with nine of those coming in the second half.  On the offensive side Chloe O'Neill got shots off on goal twice and Lauren Ashman had one for Villanova in overtime.

In the first 10 minutes of overtime the Wildcats and Huskies both took a corner and UConn got a shot off but neither had a chance on goal.  In the second 10 minutes UConn placed three on goal which were all saved by McClay and the Wildcats one by Ashman was saved. 

Villanova will return to action on Thursday when they host the Georgetown Hoyas.  Kick off at Higgins Soccer Complex is scheduled for 1:00 P.M.
