The Sporting News released its 2020-21 All-America teams on March 9 and
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Villanova;s sophomore forward, earned a spot on the the Third Team.
Robinson-Earl, a 6-9 product of Kansas City, Kan., helped lead the Wildcats to a 16-5 overall record in the regular season and Villanova's seventh BIG EAST regular season title in the past eight seasons. He led the Wildcats in scoring in 15.2 points per game and rebounding at 8.4 rpg. He closed the regular season with three straight double-doubles, giving him six for the season.

Villanova opens postseason play Thursday in the first quarterfinal at the BIG EAST Tournament at New York's Madison Square Garden. The No. 1 seeded 'Cats will face the winner of Wednesday's matinee between No. 8 Georgetown and No. 9 Marquette, which gets underway at 3 p.m.
