VILLANOVA. PA. – The Villanova women's basketball team checks in at No. 24 this week in the Associated Press Top 25. This is the program's first Top 25 ranking since Jan. 1, 2018.
 
Villanova is off to a 2-0 start with road wins at Marist (60-38) and at No. 24 Princeton (69-59).   The Wildcats have been led in the early going by All-American forward Maddy Siegrist. Her best effort of the season came in the Princeton win when she had 32 points and 13 rebounds.
 
The Wildcats ae set to return to action on Thursday, Nov. 17, with a road game at Penn. Tip-off at The Palestra is set for 7 p.m.
