BETHLEHEM, Pa.—Villanova (2-9) got off to a fast start in its first match in two weeks but was ultimately defeated by a 5-2 final score by Lehigh (6-5) on Sunday morning. Playing for the first time since the end of their Spring Break trip to California, the Wildcats captured the doubles point against the Mountain Hawks and also scored a win in the No. 3 singles match. Freshman
Trey Fourticq (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the way for Villanova with the team's lone singles victory and was also victorious in his match at No. 3 doubles.

Anthony Prokurat (Manalapan, N.J.) combined for a 7-5 win over Michael Bukhalo and Luke Donovan as the Wildcats posted wins in both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches. Senior
Matthew Jones (Dallas, Texas) and junior
Justin Suarez (Manila, Philippines) were 6-2 winners over Gary Fishkin and Marc Blekhman at No. 2 doubles. Villanova led 1-0 in the team score before Lehigh came back with wins in five of the six singles matches.
The second team point for the Wildcats came from Fourticq in the No. 3 lineup spot against Matt Kleiman. Fourticq went to a tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets to eventually claim his 11
th singles victory of the year. He battled back after losing the opening set to Kleiman and gutted out a 2-6, 7-6, 10-7 victory.
Villanova played close matches at No. 1 and No. 4 singles despite coming out on the short end of those decisions. Sophomore
Josh Robinson (Potomac, Md.) fell in a narrow 6-3, 6-4 result against Zack Elliott ta the top of the lineup, while Jones was defeated (7-5, 6-4) by Fishkin in their No. 4 singles match.
Coming up next weekend the Wildcats will face a pair of BIG EAST opponents on the road as they travel to Xavier on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and visit Butler next Saturday at 2 p.m.
