VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova Rowing is set to host a Parent and Alumni Day this Saturday, April 2, at the boathouse in Conshohocken.

The team will be dedicating its newest boat after the Class of 2020 who lost their senior competitive season due to the global pandemic.

"We never were able to celebrate these young women and we thought the most fitting way would be in dedicating a boat in their name," head coach Carissa Adams said. "We have never hosted an alumni day at the boathouse before and it will be exciting to be able to show our supporters what we have done to our space over the past few months."

The event begins at noon with Adams providing an introduction and welcome at 12:30 p.m. A social hour and light lunch will pave the way to the boat dedication at 2 p.m. before a boat launch at 2:30 p.m. with an alumni row and class race following that.
