Villanova, Pa.- The Villanova men's lacrosse team will host the Providence Friars Saturday for Senior Day. First faceoff is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. and can be seen on Nova Nation All Access on FloSports. The senior day ceremony will begin at 12:25 and will take place on the field.
This year the Wildcats have 12 seniors who will be honored. The group of two managers and ten student-athletes during their four years at Villanova have won 25 games and qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament every year.
A Look at Villanova: The Wildcats are 6-4 overall and 1-1 in BIG EAST play entering Saturday game. Last weekend Villanova fell to Denver 12-10, in a game that was back and forth. To open league play Villanova defeated St. John's on the road 22-9, this was the third straight time the Wildcats scored 20 or more goals against the Red Storm.
Villanova's Offense:
Matt Campbell leads the Villanova offense this season with 46 points. The senior who switched to attack midway through the season, has netted a goal in every game this season. Last weekend Campbell had a game high five points on four goals and one assist. Graduate transfers

Brett Baskin both have over 30 points this season with Keating having 39 and Baskin 36.
Patrick Daly, who picked up his 100
th career point against St. John's, has 29 points this season.
Villanova's Defense:
Justin Coppola, who is currently ranked 7
th in the country in faceoff winning percentage, has won double digit faceoffs every game this season. The junior is .615 from the faceoff x with a team high 90 ground balls. The Wildcat's defense is ranked third in man-down defense and fourth in caused turnovers per game. SSDM
Chet Comizio leads the Wildcats with 18 caused turnovers this season. In goal,
Will Vitton has please over 576 minutes between the posts and has a 11.45 goals against average and .476 save percentage through 10 games.
A Look at Providence: The Friars are 5-6 overall and 0-2 in league action. To open BIG EAST play Providence lost at Marquette and last weekend fell to Georgetown. Senior Matt Grillo leads the Friars with 27 goals this season while rookie Ryan Bell has a team high 25 assists. Quinn McConnaughey and Richie Hughson spilt time at the faceoff x and combined are 109-for-236 (.461). Michael Harris has been the primary keeper this season and is 4-6 with a 13.43 goals against average.
