PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Villanova senior Lyam MacKinnon (Lausanne, Switzerland) was named the Philly Soccer Six Player of the Week on Tuesday.

In the Wildcats' only action of the week MacKinnon scored the game-winner in the 21st minute of a 4-0 triumph over Northwestern on Labor Day at the Higgins Soccer Complex. He added a second goal early in the second half as Villanova improved to 1-1-1 on the season. 

MacKinnon missed Villanova's first two games of 2022 at Stanford and California due to injury.
