NEWARK, N.J.- The Wildcats fell on the road to NJIT in a tough 7-0 loss.
 
The match began with two Wildcat doubles teams falling to NJIT. The duo of senior captain Amanda Rivera-González and junior Bella Steffen were the only Wildcats to take a win on the day over Paula Menendez Alvarez and Shalom Salvi in a 6-2 victory.
 
Unfortunately, the Wildcats were swept by the Highlanders in all singles match ups with NJIT taking the team win 7-0 over Villanova.
 
The Wildcats return to action on Friday February 10 to take on the University of Delaware at 1 pm.
