LANCASTER, Pa.- The Wildcats now claim a two match win streak, the first time this has happened all season. The 'Cats swept the Diplomats 7-0 in an exciting victory.
 
The match began with Villanova No. one doubles falling to the Diplomats team. Trey Fourticq and Tighe Brunetti earned a 6-3 win over Gonzalo Gentou and Pedro Norte in the second spot. Villanova took the last point with Josh Robinson and Cooper Gordon taking a 6-2 victory over Anthony Casale and Isaac Rockower to earn the first team point of the match.
 
In the No.1 spot, Robinson took on Zac Ashtiani made quick work of the match pulling out the 6-1, 6-1 win. Brunetti took the 6-2, 6-2 victory over Rockower at No. 2 singles. No. 3 singles had Eitan Khromchenko quick defeated Gentou in a 6-1, 6-0 result. In the No. 4 slot Ryan Nguyen faced off with Luke Brodsky and was victorious with the 6-1, 6-4 decison. Trey Fourticq defeated Norte in No.6 singles 6-4, 6-1. And Lukas Choi earned the 6-4, 6-1 win over Casale. The Wildcats defeated the Diplomats 7-0 on the day for second win in a row.
 
The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday March 29 when the head to Queens, N.Y. to take on the St. John's Red Storm. Match time is yet to be determined.
