CAYCE, S.C.- Eight seeded Villanova took on #1 Creighton on Friday afternoon for the BIG EAST Quarterfinals at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness club and dropped the match 4-1 to conclude their postseason run.

The match began Creighton taking No. 1 and 3 doubles matches to claim the first team point of the match.

The Blue Jays defeated No. 1, 2, and 4 singles and clinched the match in the four spot for the 4-1 victory. The best effort of the day came from
Trey Fourticq who took on Zachary Kuo in the No. 6 spot and came out with the 6-2, 7-6 lone Wildcat win on the day.

This match ends the Wildcats postseason run and concludes the 2022-23 season. The 'Cats will return next fall 2023 for a new season of tennis.
