VILLANOVA, Pa.- The Wildcats took on Temple at home and fought it out until the end but ultimately fell in a 5-2 defeat.
 
The match began with Temple taking No. 2 and 3 doubles over Hampton both in 6-2 fashion. The team of sophomore Valieriia Kornieva and senior captain Amanda Rivera-González were in the lead 5-4 before the doubles matches were called. The Owls claimed the first team point of the match.
 
Temple claimed No. 2, 4, 5, and 6 singles to finish the match and claim a 5-2 victory over the Wildcats. Sophomore Emma Brogan defeated Thamara Kawaratani 6-4, 7-5 at No. 1 singles. Freshman Emi Callahan took on Sena Takebe and took the 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles.
 
The Wildcats return to action on Tuesday, April 11 to take on Rider on the West Campus Courts. Match time is set for 3:00 pm.
