VILLANOVA, Pa. The votes are in: Sydney Pappas was named BIG EAST Co-Attacker of the Year alongside UConn's Kate Shaffer and Denver's Julia Gilbert. So far this season Pappas has earned 63 points from 52 goals and 11 assists with a .739 shots on goal percentage. Even though she is just a sophomore, Pappas has led her team offensively throughout their record-breaking season. The Wildcats (11-5, 3-3 BE) earned the most wins in program history with much thanks to Pappas as she scored three or more goals in 11 games so far this season. 

Pappas was not the only Wildcat to receive BIG EAST honors. Captain Caroline Curnal was named to the All-BIG EAST first team as well as Pappas. Curnal has had an outstanding season after breaking the all-time career record in draw controls with 374 and counting. She also broke the season record for draw controls with 147 and counting. In addition to her draw control skills, Curnal also comes in second on the team for goals scored with 39. 

Sami Carey, Mary Kate Conniff, and Olivia Conquest were named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team. Carey comes in second on the team for most points earned with 53 from 25 goals and 28 assists, and earned a top eight spot in all-time season assists. Conniff leads the team in caused turnovers with 19, earning herself a top seven spot in all-time season caused turnovers. Despite being injured for most of the season, Conquest came up big in monumental wins such as Saint Joe's, Navy, and Georgetown with a save percentage of .496.
