Box Score NEWARK, DE— Villanova traveled to face Delaware and fell 6-1.
 
Doubles
 
Delaware would take all three doubles matches. 
 
In the one spot the sophomore duo of Emi Callahan and Maggie Gehrig took on Askarova and Staiculescu where they lost 6-3.
 
Amanda Rivera-Gonzalez and Valieriia Kornieva were in the two spot.  The duo lost in a back-and-forth match 6-4 to Honrubia and Svendsen.

Senior Bella Steffen and freshman Miriam Gondorova were in the third spot for the Wildcats. Their match ended in a 6-2 defeat to Delaware's duo of Coetzee and Hrynashka.
 

Singles
 
Freshman Lauren Monti picks up the first singles win of the spring season for the Wildcats.  Monti competed in the six spot and won 8-6.

Gehrig (one spot), Gondorova (two spot), Kornieva (three spot), Callahan (four spot), and Jenna Stevens (five spot) all took place in singles matches.  The matches were all tough battles that saw Gondorova and Kornieva take the match to a third set.
