VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova women's lacrosse team has announced their 2024 fall schedule. The Wildcats are coming off of their 7-9 spring season and return their top three point scorers including BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Mary Moore and returning all-conference seniors Sydney Pappas and Sami Carey.  

They will kick off their fall season with a home game against American University. The Wildcats last faced the Eagles in 2006 and lost 11-4.  

The Cats will then go up against Rutgers University. The last time these two teams faced off was in 2022 and Rutgers overcame the Wildcats 17-4. They will also be playing University of Pennsylvania at Moorestown High following the Rutgers game that afternoon. 

The Wildcats will wrap up their fall season with the Philly 5. They will be facing Temple, La Salle, Drexel and Saint Joseph's.
