Maggie Gehrig competed in the one spot for the Wildcats and fell 6-0 to Temple's Uchijima and Nanere.
Junior
Valieriia Kornieva and senior Amanda Rivera-Gonzalez fell 6-0 in the two position.
Senior
Bella Steffen teamed up with the freshman
Jenna Stevens for the first time this spring. The duo battled Christoforidou and Kawaratani and fell 6-2.
Singles
In the one spot
Ami Grace Dougah fell in two sets with a tiebreaker in the second 6-3, 7-6 (4).
Kornieva falls in the two position 6-2, 6-3.
Callahan takes on the third spot for the Wildcats and fell 6-3, 6-3.
Monti loses a close match against Nanere in the third set. The first set would be won by Monti, 7-6 (6). This would be followed up by another set that went into tie breaker where it saw Nanere win, 7-6 (4). The final set was another close one (10-8) in favor of Nanere.
Stevens falls 6-0, 6-2 in the fifth position for Villanova.
Freshman
Maddie Hills rounded out the lineup for the Wildcats. In a back-and-forth match against Mummadi of Temple, Hills would fall in the third set (6-3, 0-6, 13-11).
