PRINCETON, N.J. – Villanova was defeated by No. 19 Harvard 15-7 on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats trailed 7-6 at halftime before the Crimson pulled away in the second half.

Tiffany Maguire continued to impress Villanova as she poured in three goals to lead the Wildcats. Stella Byles recorded three points in the loss and goalie Abigail Shelby recorded nine saves including two five meter saves and a steal in the contest.

The Wildcats now sit at 12-3 as they reach the halfway point of the season. They will use the next two weeks to prepare for the Convergence Tournament in California as MAAC play is on the horizon.
