PHILADELPHIA – Wildcats drop midweek battle in Philadelphia to Penn, 8-3.
Villanova got off to a hot start with a three-run homer in the first inning. For the next four innings the bats were cold for both teams. However, that would change in the bottom of the fourth inning when the Quackers scored two runs. They would follow that up with five more runs in the following inning and one more in the eighth. The Wildcats bats were unable to respond to any of the scoring by The Quackers.
