Box Score WEST POINT, NY— Villanova was defeated 4-0 by Army in New York this past weekend.

Doubles

The freshman duo of Miriam Gondorova and Lauren Monti competed in the one spot for the Wildcats.  The two would fall 6-3 against Jackson and Herremans.
Jenna Stevens and Emma Brogan did not finish their match in the two spot for the Wildcats.
Amanda Rivera-Gonzalez and Maddie Hills fell in the third spot for Villanova, 6-1.

Singles
 
Gondorova took on the one position against Jackson. Jackson would take the first set 6-4, but Gondorova would battle back taking the second 7-5.  The match would however end in a did not finish result. 
Freshman Jenna Stevens went up against Emma Sy.  After losing the first set 6-3, Stevens won the second 5-4.  The match would end in a did not finish.
Lauren Monti lost in the third position 6-0, 6-0 to Vennmukiil Mathivanan.
In the fourth spot Maddie Hills competed and won the first set 7-6.  In the second the score was 3-2 before it was not finished.
Emma Brogan fell 7-5, 6-4 to Ruckno in the fifth spot.
Rivera-Gonzalez fell 6-3, 6-1 to Feoli.
