FAIRFAX, VA – Villanova avoids the sweep in Virginia winning game three 9-2 over George Mason.
The bats started off slow for Villanova as George Mason took the 2-0 lead into the fourth inning. After that it would be all Wildcats as they would score in four straight innings. The runs would come in all different ways as a SAC fly and singles would start the scoring off followed by a home run and a balk. A convincing 9-2 score would be the final for Villanova.
Nova Notes
- Jason Neff smacked a home run in the sixth inning, his fourth of the year. He finished with one hit and three RBI.

- Stater Luke McCollough picks up his second win of the season. McCollough held George Mason to five hits, two runs and struck out five in five innings of work.
