Box Score ORLANDO, FL— Villanova fell to Xavier in day two of the Florida trip.

Doubles
 
In the one spot, Miriam Gondorova and Ami Grace Dougah battled in a match that was unfinished.

Maggie Gehrig and Emi Callahan fell in their doubles match 6-0 to Brotherton and Nugent.

Bella Steffen and Jenna Stevens fell in the final spot 6-1 against Flowers and Mazzucato

Singles
 
Ami Grace Dougah fell 6-1, 6-2 in the one spot for the Wildcats.

In the two spot Gehrig took on Roggenburk and fell 6-3, 6-0.

Miriam Gondorova continues to be a bright spot in the third singles spot.  The freshman picks up another victory, winning in the third set for the Wildcats. She defeated Nugent, 6-1, 5-7, 13-11.

Freshman Jenn Stevens fell in a hard-fought match to Siminski, 7-5, 6-1.

Callahan took fifth singles spot, but fell 6-3, 6-2 to Mazzucato.

In the final spot it would go down to the wire for Lauren Monti.  She would fall in two sets, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4).
