VILLANOVA, Pa. – Second Team All-BIG EAST selection Eric Dixon (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington High School) led the list of award winners at the annual Villanova Basketball Awards Ceremony on Thursday night at Finneran Pavilion.

Dixon, who led the Wildcats in both scoring and rebounding in 2023-24 while starting all 34 games, was honored as Most Outstanding Player, Villanova Attitude, and the program's highest honor, the Villanova Basketball Award. In addition, Dixon was presented with a basketball commemorating his 1,000th career point, scored as part of an epic 34-point effort in a November win over North Carolina.

Junior guard Jordan Longino (Doylestown, Pa./Germantown Academy) shared the Villanova Attitude Award with Dixon and the Jake Nevin Award with Chris Arcidiacono (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy H.S.). Arcidiacono also shared the Alexander Severance Award with Trey Patterson (Somerset, N.J./Rutgers Prep).

Guards Justin Moore (Fort Washington, Md./DeMatha High School) and Mark Armstrong (South Orange, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) took home the first Jack Kraft Award.

The Paul Arizin Award went to graduate transfers Tyler Burton (Uxbridge, Mass./Marianapolis Prep) and Hakim Hart (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic High School).

Former Wildcats forward Will Sheridan received the Alumni Appreciation Award. Assistant Athletics Director Leashia Lewis was presented the Nova Nation Award.

Students Will Buettner (Christopher M. Dincuff Award); Jason Wain (Joseph J. and Teresa Martini Endowed Scholarship in Honor of Randy Foye '06); and Connor Blimm (James and Jean Meehan Scholarship) also took home major awards.

Villanova concluded the 2023-24 season – its 104th season of men's basketball – with an 18-16 record (10-10 BIG EAST).
