STORRS, CT– UConn takes game one in Storrs, Connecticut over Villanova, 8-2.
The bats started off hot for the Huskies as the team hit a two-run homer in the first. They started a trend for UConn as they added six more runs in the first three frames.

AJ Hansen to put Villanova on the board. The Wildcats added one more run but that was all, giving us the final score of 8-2.
