Ami Grace Dougah and
Miriam Gondorova fell in the one spot 6-2 to Constantinou and Wright.
Emi Callahan and
Maggie Gehrig were defeated in the two position 6-2 by Petri Bere and Hinshaw.
Jenna Stevens and
Bella Steffen did not finish their matchup in the third spot for Villanova.
Singles
In the one spot
Ami Grace Dougah defeated Wright in a three-set battle. All three matches were won with the score of 6-4. Dougah took the first, lost the second and won the third.
Gehrig dropped her singles match 6-2, 6-1 against Constantinou.
It took
Miriam Gondorova three sets to defeat Petri Bere in the third spot for the Wildcats. Gondorova came back after losing the first set 6-3 and won the second 6-2. In the third the freshman for Villanova won the tiebreak 1-0 (3) to pick up another point for the team.
In the fourth spot
Jenna Stevens secured another victory for Villanova, defeating Hinshaw 6-4
Lauren Monti fell in the five spot, 6-1, 6-1 to Didion.
In the final spot,
Valieriia Kornieva dropped her singles match 6-2, 6-4 to Asenov.
