VILLANOVA, Pa., -
Kris Parker, a 6-9 native of Tallahassee, Fla., has signed a financial aid agreement to enroll at Villanova. The guard spent the 2023-24 season as a redshirt at Alabama and retains four seasons of eligibility.
"Kris is a tall, versatile guard who will give us a different look on both sides of the floor," stated Villanova head coach
Kyle Neptune. "As a dynamic guard, he can create for himself and make plays for his teammates. We can't wait to have him join us when our team returns to Villanova later this month."
Parker made a name for himself at Crossroad Academy, earning recognition as one of Florida's Top 10 seniors in the class of 2023. In his final season at Crossroad he averaged 24.8 points, 14.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per outing. He was named 2023 Florida Class 2A Player of the Year.
Villanova was one of Parker's finalists in 2023 before he chose Alabama.
Parker joins a freshman class of newcomers that includes

Josiah Moseley, and
