SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa – Villanova women's tennis team grad their first win of the season against Bucknell. The Wildcats finished 4-1.
 
From the first serve, the team was on fire. In singles, Sophia Edwards competed against No.1, winning in straight sets 3-7,6-7. Jenna Stevens followed suit going head to help with No.4, ending straight set of win 3-6,6-7. Freshman Oliva Cocoran wraps up the single wins, taking down No.3, 3-6,6-7.
 
Doubles duo of Maggie Gehrig and Corcoran set the tone and were victorious over No.2 6-4. Stevens ad Maddie Hills paired up against No.3 and came out on top 4-6.
 
The Wildcats are set to face Lehigh on Friday, January 31st.
