WEST POINT, PA – Villanova women's tennis fall to St. John's (5-2) and Army (4-1) on a weekend road trip.
 
The Wildcats started their weekend at St. Johns where they picked up two wins in singles competition. Maggie Gehrig played No.1 and was victorious 6-4,6-3. While Olivia Corcoran fought hard against No.2 3-6, 6-2 but ultimately won 10-2.
 
At Army, the 'Cats had strong showings in doubles competition helping them earn a point. Duo of Sophia Edwards and Miriam Gondorova battled No.1 and came out on top 6-3. Lauren Monti and Corcoran went up against No.2 and finished 6-4.
 
Villanova will be back on the court on Monday as they travel to Seton Hall.
