ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Villanova woman's tennis lost a close match against Navy 3-4 on Sunday morning.
 
The Wildcats had a strong start to the match  in doubles. Lauren Monti and Sophia Edwards played No.1 and came out of top 7-5. While duo of Maddie Hills and Jenna Stevens took down No.3 6-2.
 
In singles, Maggie Gehrig and Olivia Corcoran both had wins in overtime. Gehrig played No.2 and went 2-6,6-4 before wining it all 6-3. Corcoran followed suit going head to head with No.3 and going 4-6,6-2 before sealing the win 6-3.
 
The 'Cats will travel to Drexel on Thursday.
