Box Score VILLANOVA, PA - Villanova women's tennis pulls ahead of Saint Joseph's  in a close match, ending with a 4-2 score.

The WIldcats secure the first point of the match in doubles play. Sophia Edwards and Miriam Gonorova took down Czerny and Tracey 6-1 while Maggie Gehrig and Maddie Hills overcame Melfi and Tang 6-3.
 
Lauren Monti and Jenna Stevens led Kordonowy and Tackett 5-3 but it ended unfinished.

The 'Cats rack in three more win against the Hawks. In the first singles spot, Edwards takes down Tracey 6-2,6-1. with Gehrig in the second match against Czerny with the final score being 6-4, 6-1.

Hills grabs the last point in the No.6 spot against Perez-Garcia 6-0,6-1.

The team is set to host Temple at the Villanova tennis complex on Sunday at 12 p.m.
