RALEIGH, N.C.—Villanova throwers Hallie Kees (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) and Teresa Rotolo (Warren, N.J) competed in the javelin as three days of competition at the Raleigh Relays commenced on Thursday afternoon. Kees recorded a throw of 38.42 meters and Rotolo had a mark of 32.72 meters in each of their second outings of the season.
 
Kees came in third in the first flight and was ranked 23^rd overall for the day. She and Rotolo each competed in the first of three flights and recorded their best throws on their first attempts. A limited schedule of events made up the first day of the Raleigh Relays at Paul Derr Track, with action kicking into full gear for the Wildcats starting on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
