VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova women's lacrosse (8-4, 2-1 BIG EAST) returns home on Saturday to host No. 20 Denver at noon as part of the LAX Fest doubleheader.
The Wildcats split last week's action, earning a 14-8 victory over UConn before falling 16-9 at Marquette. Mary Moore landed on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after dishing out four assists in the win over UConn, then adding three goals and two assists against Marquette. In goal, Allie Bell recorded a career-high 10 saves in the victory over the Huskies.
Denver (10-2, 3-0 BIG EAST) enters the matchup following a 15-9 win over Marquette on Wednesday afternoon.
Villanova is still searching for its first win in the all-time series against the Pioneers, trailing 0-13. The matchup also marks a rematch of last season's BIG EAST Championship, where the Wildcats fell 14-9. Leslie Iorio scored twice, while Rose Christie recorded three assists in the contest.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats available on StatBroadcast.

Tickets are sold online here with this week's ticket allowing fans to attend both the women's and men's game at Villanova Stadium on Saturday. It'll be $15 to buy a tailgate spot in the A2 lot behind the stadium, and there is also paid rate parking available in the I1 garage located across the street from the Jake Nevin Field House. Be advised, on-site parking can only be purchased with credit cards, cash will not be accepted.
