NEW YORK — Villanova women's tennis sophomore Olivia Corcoran has been named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team, the conference announced Thursday, April 30.
Corcoran posted a 6–9 record in singles play and a 7–6 mark in doubles, competing primarily in the No. 1 singles position and No. 3 doubles spot.
In singles competition, the sophomore closed her season strong, winning four consecutive decided matches. During that stretch, she earned BIG EAST victories over UConn, Georgetown, and Providence, and capped the season with a dominant win over Haverford.
In doubles play, the North Carolina native also put together a four-match win streak alongside partners Miriam Gondorova and Maddie Hills. Corcoran won six of her final seven doubles matches to finish the season on a high note.
