VILLANOVA, Pa. -- A decorated player will join Villanova softball's 2026-27 roster as sophomore outfielder Julia Sullo made a commitment to the 'Cats. The sophomore outfielder joins a group of seven freshmen to form an eight-member class of newcomers to the Main Line.

WashU: Spent one season in St. Louis with the Division III Bears … Named as NFCA Second Team All-Region … Selected as the UAA Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-UAA selection … Played in all 38 games with 36 starts … Set a new conference single season record after 50 steals … Scored a team-best 41 runs while maintaining a program-best .464 average and 58 hits … Had just one error in the outfield.

St. Agnes Academy: Four-year varsity outfielder … Two-time District MVP and 2024 state champion … Also a three-year basketball player and a one-year soccer manager … Four-year academic all-state.

Personal: Born 1/24/07 … Daughter of Stephanie and Andrew … Has three siblings: Nick, Luke and twin sister Vivian … Brother played baseball at Emory University, dad pitched at Trinity from 1994-98.
