Villanova Athletics is proud to present the Villanova P.A.W.S program: Providing Athletes With Support. The P.A.W.S. program helps to ensure the best quality experience for Villanova student-athletes, both in the classroom and on the playing fields. Wildcat student-athletes represent the best in athletic and academic achievements, and Villanova is proud to recognize these student leaders.
This week's P.A.W.S. honors go to the Wildcat's Brett Gordon, a football standout from Ambler, Pa. and LaSalle High School. On Saturday, Oct. 5, Gordon completed 26-of-35 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-7 win over Hofstra. The Sports Network's National Player of the Week and the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week last week, Gordon is now 66-of-92 for 655 yards, eight touchdowns and only one interception in his last two contests. On Sunday, Oct. 6, Brett was named the Atlantic 10's Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
