Villanova Coach Jay Wright:
"As I said to you after our loss to La Salle, we know who we are. We know what things we have to work on. We have to learn to play defense together. We have to get everyone involved offensively. We are looking for each other better, getting easier shots."

"Bucknell is playing without their best player. So its difficult for them to come in here without Bryan Bailey. I thought they moved the ball extremely well, which was difficult for us to do. I was pleased with our defense because handled that ball movement."

"I think we still need some work on the boards. We gave up 10 offensive rebounds, but we are going the right direction."

I don't judge this group on wins and losses, because we could have lost that Dayton game very easily. We had a better chance of winning against La Salle. I am happy we came back tonight and won. We did well offensively."

"We have asked Andrew (Sullivan) to play a different role than he has in prior years. Its tough to jump in a new position and not make mistakes. We are a work in progress. Each of us has to get better individually and then we can get better as a group."

...Coach Wright on suspension of Reggie Bryant...
"His violation is a little thing. There are little things you can do in our program and get suspended a game. It was a tiny thing. I love him to death. He practiced his butt off the last two days. What he did was a small thing, but the little things are very important to us. I don't tell you what he did more because I think some people might think I am crazy, for sitting a guy out for that. We would tell you if someone did something real bad. We try to stress to our players that every little thing matters to us. We missed him tonight, and I am happy to get him back."

Villanova Forward Brook Sales:
"Our practice team especially our walk-ons, Lou Ruskey and Tom Grace really prepare us for games. They really go after us in practice and set the tone for the game. Also I have seen major improvements in Marcus Austin, those baskets in the paint were strong moves."
