VILLANOVA, Pa. - Senior Jess O'Boyle was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of March 8, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

O'Boyle had a big offensive weekend at the USF/Under Armour Invitational in which she hit three homeruns in one day. The Wildcats were 2-3 at the tournament earning wins over Toledo and UT-Chattanooga.

O'Boyle averaged .438 over the weekend going 7-for-16 with five runs, six RBI and three homeruns in five games. Four of her RBI game in a 10-4 victory against Toledo, where she hit two, two-run homeruns.

The Wildcats are off until March 23 when they travel to La Salle for a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
