VILLANOVA, Pa. - Junior Morgan Petkovich was named to the BIG EAST honor roll, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon. This is the second time this season she has earned a weekly accolade.

Petkovich notched her 1,000th career kill on Tuesday when the Wildcats lost a 3-2 decision at William & Mary. She led the squad with 19 kills and seven digs. In a sweep over Georgetown on Saturday, Petkovich smashed 15 kills and hit .238. She also tallied two services aces and had six digs. For the week, she averaged 4.25 kills per set and currently ranks 10th in the BIG EAST with a 3.25 kills per set average.

Petkovich was also named to the honor roll during the week of Sept. 5. Villanova has had one player earn a weekly honor in seven of the eight weeks of the season.

The Wildcats will host Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:00 p.m. and St. John's Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2:00 p.m.
