VILLANOVA, Pa.--High school prospects and youth baseball players of all ability levels will have the chance to receive valuable instruction on the fundamentals of baseball from the Villanova coaching staff and members of the Wildcats baseball team. Villanova will hold a clinic for high school players on Friday, December 28 at All Star Baseball Academy in West Chester and will also have a youth camp for players ages 7-12 on campus at the Pavilion on Saturday, December 29.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 28
Villanova High School Indoor Prospect Clinic
All Star Baseball Academy (West Chester)
Time: Pitcher and Catchers (11:00-2:00); Position Players (1:00-5:30)
Cost: $175.00
Description
The Villanova Indoor Winter Prospect Clinic offers an opportunity for high school players to receive valuable instruction and evaluation on the fundamental skills of baseball. Players will choose a defensive position and be grouped by that position. Each session will begin with a pro-style indoor workout. Players will be evaluated in all aspects of offensive and defensive baseball. Pitchers will throw full bullpens.

Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, helmet, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.
Facilities
All Star Baseball Academy has a FULL turf infield along with six batting tunnels and three bullpens.
Check In
Players should check in about 30 minutes prior to the start of the clinic.
Camp Waiver Information
Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available online. Please print out the medical forms and bring them to the camp.
Meals
Meals will not be provided for this session. Please bring a snack from home if you would like.
Accommodations
This is not an overnight camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
Merchandise
Villanova baseball merchandise will be available for sale during the clinic.

Villanova Youth Holiday Camp

Description
The Villanova Youth Baseball Camp offers an opportunity for players ages 7-12 to receive valuable instruction and evaluation on the fundamental skills of baseball. The Villanova University Baseball staff and members of the Wildcats baseball team will focus on teaching efficient mechanics for throwing, hitting, fielding base running and the mental aspects of the game. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful baseball players. Players will be grouped by age.
