NEW YORK – Senior Collin Quintano, sophomore JoJo Montgomery, and sophomore Brayden Leonard were each named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team, the conference announced Tuesday morning (May 19).
Quintano was one of the BIG EAST's top hitters throughout the 2026 season, posting a .311 batting average while adding 11 home runs and 46 RBIs. The Easton, Pa. native closed out his senior campaign in impressive fashion during Villanova's series at UConn. Quintano homered twice over the weekend, drove in six runs, recorded four extra-base hits, and capped the season with a three-hit performance in the finale.
In BIG EAST play, Quintano hit .324 with four home runs and 21 RBIs, with his RBI total ranking among the top five in the conference.
Montgomery also turned in a strong sophomore season for the Wildcats, particularly in conference action. The Georgia native ranked sixth in the BIG EAST with a .356 batting average during league play. Overall, Montgomery finished the year with four home runs and 19 RBIs while ending the season on a five-game hitting streak.
Leonard rounded out Villanova's All-BIG EAST selections after another consistent season at the plate. The sophomore led the Wildcats with 57 hits and 14 doubles while recording 14 multi-hit games. The Alpharetta, Ga. native also put together a 10-game hitting streak during the season. Building off a successful freshman campaign, Leonard finished the year batting .302 with two home runs and 35 RBIs.
