On Thursday, Villanova will be traveling to Charlottesville, Va., for the ITA Atlantic Regionals.

Five Wildcats will be competing in the tournament: seniors Tyler Roth and Stefan Suarez, junior Daniel Martinez and freshman Justin Suarez and Alex Kim.

Teams competing include: Delaware, Duquesne, George Mason, Georgetown, Hampton, Howard, James Madison, Liberty, Longwood, Morgan State, Mount Saint Mary's, Navy, Old Dominion, Penn State, Radford, Richmond, Saint Joseph's, VCU, Villanova, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and William & Mary.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Singles:

• 256-player, singles draw with a consolation match for first-match losers only.  Every player is guaranteed 2 singles matches.  The top 32 seeds will be given byes into the round of 64
• All singles matches are 2 out of 3 sets, NO-AD scoring
• The singles main draw finalists will both receive a berth in the ITA National Fall Championships
• The Oracle ITA National Fall Championships features 128 of the nation's top collegiate singles players (64 men and 64 women) and 64 doubles teams (32 men's teams and 32 women's teams. This year, it is hosted By Newport Beach Tennis Club & The Tennis Club at Newport Beach Country Club and will be held November 6-10.  In its third year, having replaced the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, it is the lone event on the collegiate tennis calendar to feature competitors from all five divisions playing in the same tournament

Doubles:

• 64-team draw.  Optional consolation for teams that lose in the first round
• All the doubles matches until the semifinals will be an 8-game pro-set, NO-AD scoring with a tiebreaker at 8-8.  The semifinal and finals will be 2 out of 3 sets, NO-AD scoring with a 10-point match tiebreaker in lieu of a 3^rd set if needed
• The doubles main draw champion will receive a berth in the ITA National Fall Championships
