VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova men's tennis team will travel to the Northeast this weekend for two matches. The first match is against Bentley on Friday and UCONN on Saturday. The match against Bentley will be played at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, Massachusetts with a start time of 7:00 p.m. On Saturday the UCONN match will start at 7:00 p.m. and is being played at the Magic Lincer Tennis Club of Manchester in Manchester, Connecticut.

Bentley is 2-2 and UCONN is 7-5. The Wildcats are 5-2 on the season after going 1-2 last weekend.

Last week Villanova won at Navy 5-2. The Wildcats fell to Drexel and Morgan State.

Junior Dylan Flanagan went 3-2 over the weekend. On Sunday he was undefeated against Navy and Morgan State. At Navy, Flanagan won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) on singles court no. 4 and he won his doubles match 6-4 on court no. 3. In the match against Morgan State, he won his singles match 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 on court no. 4. Flanagan has a record of 6-1 in singles play this season.
