Villanova Completes Successful Weekend at St. Joesph's Invitational

The Wildcats finished its second Fall tournament at the St. Joseph's Invitational this weekend.  The field included teams from Harford, University of Mary Washington, University of Delaware, Lehigh and La Salle.
 
Day 1
The pairing of Alex Kim and Tyler Roth defeated SJU's Justice Jones and Milo Nagle in the first doubles Flight 1 before being bounced from the bracket by Lehigh's duo of Zack Elliot and Harry Wang.

The pair of Dylan Flanagan and Tommy Mulflur defeated a doubles team from Mary Washington to get to the final round of the bracket.
Collin Klumb and Daniel Martinez defeated Harford's pair in the Double Flight 2, before losing to La Salle's double team of Gary Fishkin and Andrew Nakhjavan.
 
Day 2
In Singles Flight 1, Stefan Suarez defeated Mary Washington's Joe Brown before losing in the second round of the bracket to SJU's Nathan Perrone.
Flanagan lost in the first round to Lehigh's Harry Wang, while Roth had a bye the first round and then fell to SJU's Francesco Mowrey.

In singles Flight 2, Daniel Cheng made it to the third round of the bracket by defeating singles teams from La Selle and Mary Washington. Justin Suarez and Kim also made it the third rounds.

In singles Flight 3, Mulflur made it to the third round of the bracket by beating teams from Mary Washington and Harford. Matt Jones was bounced from the first round after taking a loss to Matt Kleiman from Lehigh.

In singles Flight 4, Martinez made it to the third round of play by defeating singles players from Mary Washington and La Salle. Klumb also made it to the third round of the bracket.
 
Day 3
Kim won the Singles Flight 2 by defeating Lehigh's Jermey Leamer.

Mulfer was defeated in the championship round of Singles Flight 3 by Leigh's Matt Kleiman.

Jones was defeated in the final round of the Singles Consolation Flight 3 by University of Delaware's Perez.

Martinez won the Singles Flight 4 by defeating by UD's Luis Marcano.

Flanagan and Mulflur took the loss in the championship round of Doubles Flight 1 to Lehigh.

The Wildcats will travel to Brown University on Friday for its third Fall competition.
