ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Villanova's women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Navy in a Sunday morning matchup.
Annalise Klopfer earned the lone point for the Wildcats in singles competition.
The Midshipmen set the tone early by winning all three of the doubles matches.
Klopfer had a stellar performance in singles competition against her former school. The senior made quick work out of the No.1 position with a 6-1,6-2 win over Navy's Jillian Taggart.
The Wildcats drop to 0-2 while Navy improves to 4-0. Villanova will return to action Friday, February 11 in a road matchup against the Delaware Blue Hens. Â
