Delivery man: Jack O'Reilly delivered for Villanova last week with a 5-for-9 effort with four runs driven in against NJIT and Lafayette. The first baseman played hero Friday when he hit a walk-off single for a 6-5 Wildcats victory over the Highlanders. O'Reilly is now tied for second on the team in runs batted in (9).
Patten pending: Cole Patten delivered another solid start Friday against the NJIT Highlanders. The Villanova ace tossed five and two third innings of one-run ball with eight strikeouts. Patten has allowed one earned run or less in his first four starts this season. The Seton Hall transfer is currently sporting a 1.03 ERA
